Some say the hogs run worse , some say they don't . Some say the hogs move early, some say they move late. I say either way I still don't like huntin at night, but we get lucky every now and then..

We seem to get alot more big boars on a full moon and sounders of sows/shoats on new moon.

We usually catch more hogs on full moon nights, especially the big boars.

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...

they just made it legal this summer in sc. to hunt at night.not sure i like it either.like it or not thats a good hog.

I don't like hog hunting at night either....I've done it some, but only when I had to. I know that being like that cuts my time in the woods down.

I've always had better evening hunts when there's a full moon. Always seem to catch them right before or right after dark. That's good boar Matt.

Nice hog but man we were out last night and busted a sounder right off the bat!Never caught one but know shoats are dead all over.Dogs got loose before bikes were unloaded.Guess that moon had'em crazy.
