Met up with Rodney this morning to make the last round of the fall out at the ranch. Turned out and Hollywood had this good spotted boar bayed in just a few minutes. Hit a few more spots with no luck. Went to a clear cut and found another good hog. Got it caught and dogs rolled out. It showed Brittany .68 and moving south, and Hollywood about 800 yards treed. Got within 90 yards of him still treed. Turned off gator and it was quiet.  Had that bad feeling come over me. Walked in to him and he was layed up on an old slough. Guess he went as far as he could before the loss of blood made him too weak. Carried him out and got him to drink a little water. He's layed up in back room for now. The yellow pup with the half tail on right is Mud Butt. This was his first real trip to the woods, first hog hes seen as well. He hunted and bayed with big dogs, and rolled out when we caught it. Looks like your young dog has the right idea about all this. Good hogs and I enjoyed the video too, did I hear a dog get hit right at the end of the video? Hope Hollywood makes a full recovery.

I had another good time at the ranch Michael. Got Jesse home and cleaned up and some penicillin in him. I sure hope Wood comes through.
Firemedic - You did hear a dog get hit right at the end of the video. That boar got 3 of the dogs that were on him.
