Guys, The 500# hogs are all in Louisiana, and so are the dogs that can catch them! Be careful what you wish for, if that big boar my buddy and me caught would have had any teeth, he most likely would have killed everything we had and then some. Joey Joey, teeth or not, you still caught my dream hog!

Mike,
My buddy just called me and he has his son on camera w/teeth, big teeth! I am going by the firestation to pick up the pics and hopefully I will be able to scan them in and post them. I bayed him last week, and he crossed in front of us. 2.5 hours later bayed him up again with a group of sows and pigs in some chest high johnson bahia grass. Dogs dont do well in that terrain and he and the rest of them got away again. He isnt as big, but man he sure looks like one bad mofo!
I think we have bigger hogs because we have fewer hogs so there is less competition for food, bigger and thicker places for them to hide, and less hog hunters. I have seen a good number of 500+ hogs, biggest that was weighed went 522lb (intact boar.) We could never catch him, he finally was shot. Then I have seen a few pics of some that claimed to be around that size as well. I have also seen a 630lb Barr that they had to shoot because the dogs couldnt catch him.
Joey

I just wish Lizzie had been on this big hog instead of out lookin for trash! Talk to Mandi about Gray, I don't care if you take him, but first I am gonna send you a roping dummy so that you can practice a little more. Ole Gray will turn them, but you gotta catch them first.

I don't mind if Cody is a roping dummy as long as he keeps all 10 fingers attached to his hands!
Hey Cody, you know better.... Butch and Lizzie are in MY string - not Chris'. :O)
