the day before yesterday one of the locol farmers called and said he watched a big group of pigs cross in to one of his pastures and he wanted us to come right then. but we were already occupied with our cooler so we told him we'd come the next mornin. well just me jimmy and boly went. jimmy took his good dog fred and his up and comin star, slick and a red dog that had only worked in the pen. boly doesnt have any dogs just goes with us. and i took jigger, ed, junior, and a pup thats startin biscuit, and my cd max. we got to the spot and turned loosed and sat around b.s. for a bitand all our dogs were gone but we couldnt hear nothin. the garmin was on fred and it showed him about 900 and somethin yards to the east of us. so we called jimmys roommate and he went down there to check it out and  said they were jammin up in there. so we headed back to the truck and loaded up max and slick andheaded that way.we got as close as we could to fred but we could hear two bays goin. fred by his self it sounded like to the left and my walker ed and jigger to the right. well jimmy wanted to go to fred first, i dont kno why, but we got to him and turned max loose and only got about a 70 lb boar. then trent calls and says to hurry up over there with the catch dog cause they got a big pig in the creek. we we haul over there and turn max loose bout 40 yds out and got up there to see this big ole wanch was carryin the dogs all over the place and roughin them up. well jimmy boly and trent went down by the water gunna try to leg her and she comes back my way then hangs a left up out of the water, which was a mistakefor her. the dogs got her stopped pretty quick and we got her flipped aand hobbled. a fun hunt for the mornin. oh ya we all guessed her somewhere around 250 or 275. i kno she was sure heavy
but that evening cole newsome and a few of his friends came down to hunt where we knew there was some pigs. well we got turned loose and all the older dogs dissappeared and had one bayed we got close and let max go but didnt get him caught. then coles dog brownie came back cut up prettygood and he ended up loosein her. rip brownie.

good hunt, i could have been a part of that but some folks gotta work for a living. i got kate geared up for sunday. im pretty sure she gonna be a jammer. and we had a great nit last nit, besides tha loss of brownie, it was a fun nit. i guess its always wild when jimmy is involved. lol chase thanks for helpin me get brownie outta tha woods, even tho randell got us lost. what were we thinkin listenin to a chick, who was on her first hog doggin trip anyway.

and caughtandhobbled u might be right we aint gotta go far at all to get on some. but just come up sometime. idontkno if we'vejust been gettin lucky or what butt we aint went out in a while without at least gettin one, [knock on wood].
and cole i work but when its wet its hard to strip cotton. so i jjust been enjoyin my lil vacation =] but it was some fun last night despite what happened. and no problem, i know it wouldn be easy to try to carry her out alone. and ya when jimmy is around i think ur gunna laugh wether ya want  to or not lol.

hay chase it was fun last nite till brownie went down... yall boys do know where the hogs are..not far from yalls house... and thats cool..... yall got sum good dogs.... cant wait to hunt again with yall during the day.....not at nite ..... and next time ill bring sum beer so yall dont run out...let me know when i can tag along again.....
