Just wanted to say thanks for getting a forum like this started.  In the short time that I have been on here,  I have met several people and have gotten in touch with others that I have dealt with in the past.  I have also seen different ways to hunt and picked up some good hints.  I never spent as much time in front of a computer than I do now.  I am not real sure if thats a good thing yet or not, but really all I wanted to say is THANKS to all.         Patrick.

Patrick, you're welcome.

That's what it's all about... telling stories, learning new things and meeting some good people.

Man this site is awesome
I use to hunt with a few guys, started getting things together, and they all drug up on me. I wasn’t doing anything with my dogs, and was about to just give them all away; cus I felt like they were going to waste, then I came across ETHDs. Since, I've found training techniques, been invited on hunts and met some damn good people. I would have been kicking myself in the butt seeing those empty dog houses in the back yard. Sure glad I found this place. :-)

Admin,
I'd like to add to Patrick’s appreciation, good ideal starting this site, and many thanks for all the information, tips and techniques. OH yeah and the recipes :-)
My son is seven and I'd like to pass on my love and passion for hog-doggin, ETHDs is giving me to tools to do so. THANK YOU!!!!!

I have a seven year old myself, and want nothing more than to have him with me while I'm out there.  Its hard with school and a four year old that has to do what Bubba does.  If you are close enough or ever want to get together, let me know.  Maybe we can line somthing up.

I appreciate that Diamond G!
I'm about 35 miles N of Houston, but dont mind traveling a bit. I know what you mean about balancing around school and family, I have a new born baby girl and Momma wants me there more than I can be or should be. Although, the new girl kind of balanced us out, she has someone to do the girly stuff with.

I enjoy meeting new folks, especially from this site, seems like were all in the same mind set, mostly just good ol' country folk with strong family values. I know there's going to be bad apples here and there, but for the most part I think the admins are keeping a pretty good hand on them.

I hope to start getting me some places to hunt after deer season, and I'll extend all those invitations back out to you guys, thanks.
