My son Taylor(9 years old) and I made a trip to Ten Mile Outfitters this saturday with Ronnie(Dogman) and Red. Justin was there as well as bunch of other guys but Im not to good with names. LOL

First Ive got to say Dustin has a place that anyone who has a dog or just likes to hunt would be jealous of. My son was amazed with just about everything there. From the big red turkey and hens walking right up to you to the tame 300lb boar that pretty much ate peanuts out of his hand.

I brought my lil Jagd Ami who has never been in the woods on hogs except for Ronnie training her on some mock trails at 2Rkennels. I cant remember which dog was who half the time but Red's (sissy dog) and Ronnie's (Daisy) where really making it happen . No catchdogs where needed with all the rough dogs on the ground and I think the final total was 8 hogs caught.

My son thanks to Dustin(ten mile outfitters) got to stick not just his first but second hog. He went knowing this was a catch and release hunt but Dustin let him get his first kill. He was so excited when he heard Taylor get a knife he didnt know what for. After the first one he just wanted stick em all Shocked so we had to remind him of the catch and release.
For his second one. Later that day we couldnt hear the dogs except for Dustin hearing a squeel (everyone was thinking he was just hearing things).LOL Sure enough the had another small one caught which Taylor got to stick. Dogs were caught a little to long on him.

We also let the Jagds go after some varmints while Red was working the black iron pot. Mine had the first strike(skunk) that didnt go well. Justin got a possum and we got to get all the Jagds some practice going in holes, downed trees and brush piles.

It was an awesome day with some good guys and some nice dogs. My son and I cant wait to go back and would like to thank Dustin and Ten Mile Outfitters for the hospitality and the awesome place to hunt.

Patout - Please let me know next time you make a run over there! I'd like to bring JD and JAck, then run all 3 Jagd's at the same time to see what they will do.

Here is one more pic I got from a friend. I dont know why I didnt take more pics of dogs. My little 15lb Jag can be seen in the background. All the other dogs were a year or younger most this was there first woods trip.

Cajunjag that sounds like a good time. Well figure out a time. If I cant make it just give Dustin a call and check it out.
