Awesome, a hunt in the daylight and I wasn't there, imagine that. I saw them on you photobucket earlier and have been awaiting the story.

That is awsome Paul!!! It looks funny to see Milo growing this time of year, that must be a different type. The stuff they grow down here is much closer together and has a different looking body to the plant. Looks like your dogo has it pretty well figured out. Matt

Paul,
Nice pictures. Heck of a way to make a showing for the farmer. I bet Slim would have rather been on this hunt than the one down in the canyon. Seems I recall hearing about a 2 hour trek into a canyon on a hunt last year.

Slim, Daylight and flat ground, there is a first time for everyting, haha.
matt, I am sure our milo should look like yours, this field has just been thrashed by the hogs. On the other side of this place there are almost no heads left at all.

Lookin at the pics again, that is a pretty decent size hog, what do you think he weighed? Also how big is that field....looks "west texas size" if you know what I mean. Matt

Hog would be about 180lbs I would guess. That field is half a section with wheat or grass for a mile on each side. Its a pretty good spot, I bet I get to hunt it next year starting when he plants it.haha

Man, it looks like AJ is making a hand as well. I'm with Slim.... what's with all this daylight/flatland business? Seems like I remember seeing the backend of a catchdog for 2 hours climbing out of a canyon last time.

Ya'll better stop telling all those "canyon hunt horror stories" or no one will ever come up here to hunt with me ever again, I allways figured that if you are coming to my place at the end of the road for a hunt you probably wanted to "see" some country, and besides rock climbing with a catch dog is fun....right. Marvin, Adora is doing a great job, I am so pleased with her. I am ready to start sending her in first...she is the real deal for sure. She is about 90lbs now.
