First of all let me thank the Admin for allowing me to join this site.
I'm new here but not new to hog hunting with dogs though I got away from it for several years, due to losing my hunting buddies. I have recently decided to get back into it because I honestly miss it! LOL Looking forward to swapping stories and maybe gettin together with some of you that are local (Rusk/Palestine/ Jacksonville, Tx area)

Yea I know quite a few hog hunters in this area and have let a few of em hunt on my place. I've hunted with a few of them also back when I was hunting before, unfortunately wives and girlfriends frown on their husbands/boyfriends hunting with woman that is not a family member whether she is married or not. That's what happened to my hunting buddies.....they all got married....*sigh*

I'm not running anything yet....I picked up a pit pup last week out of my old catch dog's line. I haven't found any bay dog pups yet I'm still looking. I've been out of hog hunting about 5 years now so I'm having to start over from scratch.  |
