You could alomost feel the excitment that these great hunter had when hunting Old Bruin.  Great story..

No problem,  in all honesty I was reading the history of the Ritter family and a couple other family pages when I kinda stumbled on it.  I couldn't believe some good ol boys from Texas cuaght the attention of Teddy Roosevelt! I wish my dogs were of that caliber

I dont know if  you have read the book but the Book big Thicket Legacy is full of good stories like that. Many of the names mentioned in the other story are in that book also.
