I have a dog that barks all night with a bark collar. What is the best bark collar out there?

I just got the tri tronics g3 and tried bot sets of points and the pup just barked through it.  I went and traded it for a innotek one which was half the price and it shut him down quick.  it auto adjusts so i dont have to mess with it.

Yup all the way up to five.  Put it on a 9 month old bulldog that im working on protection training that barks on command (hes kinda a wuss though).  the light blinked and nothin even on 5.  Put the innotek on him when it was first turned on (adjusts automatically so it should have been on lowest setting) had him bark and he jumped bout ten foot and tucked his tail and ran cryin the whole damn time.  took ten minutes to catch him to take it off.

Mine only barks in the kennel, just non-stop. I thought it was not working at all but a multimeter jumped each time we clapped. He ijust thinks barking is worth the zap and does not even blink. I guess I will try the innotek.

I had one of the cheaper automatic collars and i had to put it pretty tight on the dogs neck before it would work good.

I would take that g3 back and get a refund.  I got 3 being delivered on friday and I researched bark collars pretty intensly.  The g3's won hands down even at double the cost.  I did the hand test set at 4 and damn dear pissed my pants.  If 5 ain't doing it something is wrong with the unit.

I bought two of the Dogtra bark collars and have had good success with them over the last 2 years.  They go up to 8 and on 4-5 they do the job.  It still amazes me that after nearly three years of wearing the collars those two dogs did not learn that no bark means no bark.  I can have the battery get low and take them off and they bark every breath till I get them back on their neck.  Most frustrating thing ever....
