I've tried em and don't like em! The hog sometimes will kick loose!

we use just plain ol' slip hobbles and once we get them on go over them with some black electrical tape. works pretty nicely

x2 I never tried hobbles. I have always used muletape or rope.
Hogs look like they can get up and walk off with hobbles on unless you tie them off to something with their feet up  Huh?

Only thing I don't like about them is or big hogs u need bigger ones but then for a smaller hog they are too big and they can move to much really need to carry two sizes to the woods I like rope I carry hay twine not the small stuff on round bails but the ones on square bales have yet to have it let me down just have to get them back up quicker because of circulation loss

Have seen smaller hogs get up and get out of them, not big enough for some big hogs and all of them can stand up and still move pretty good with them on. As many have said tie em down with mule tape!

thanks for the replies , i prefer muletape myself but we have been useing uglydog snaphobbles lately because they seem to allow more circulation . very happy with them but if your tryn to hobble a biggin you might have trouble slipping them over the hoof . so i saw these cinch hobbles but they look like they may be over complicated in the feild . just wondering if anyone has used cinch hobbles and what they thought? thanks again
