Just saw this, I have 2 1800 acre ranches in Bee County and have set up the old cow pens to endless trap hogs, how much are you paying and where do you weigh them, i am 17 miles from feed store scale, can you take a 20 foot load a month and pick them up load and weigh and pay us before leaving the ranch or at least cut a check at the Coop scale???  We are eat up with hogs worse than any time i remeber but i am not trapping and feeding corn for 13 cents a pound, post some prices and ranches you have been doing business with please.

Pard, do you buy hogs or not at the ranch and can you post up prices,  please dont reply with  circle talk, our ranch is near Refugio 17 miles and I know Mrs Myer, just trying to see what your deal is.  I dont want to go set trap gates again and get too many hogs with no buyer or price firmed up beforehand.  Do you have a portable scale you bring or could you pay us at the Woodsboro Coop Scale if we bring them to it in our 24 foot trailer???  We could sort if you give some weights and prices I guess but i really dont want to get into doing this if i dont have too.  Do you have a price list or is it a secret??  Thanks

no circle talk at all. I just don't have the time to sit and type on a computer. Not being rude its just that I get dozens of emails and text messages daily from people that I think have never caught a hog. You waste a week of back and forth texting only to find out that the fifty hogs they've got for sale haven't seen the inside of a trap, but they are going to buy a trap and catch them. I do not post prices because as you know at times the prices change and also if I quote you a price on this forum I have to explain over and over why the 2 pigs that Joe Blow has 50 miles south of you wont bring the same money. I can bring scales but prefer the coop, we've weighed a load or two on the one just south of Refugio. Prices will be inline with Virginia's. If your interested in selling hogs either call me or send me your #. Once again if this looks like a circle or sounds rude it was not ment tobe. I make my living buying hogs and hate like heck to let one get away. Thanks, Skipper 252-747-0933

lol, she was one of the greats no doubt, and maybe more famous or remembered than others since she was a sheep dog version of the catahoula.  I sure miss her.  We made a good run together, along with a few other pretty good dogs as well(patches, maverick, rawhide, etc..)

I'm doing good.  I got out of competition long ago, and it wasn't due to not having good dogs, just my priorities were re-arranged with the birth of a couple children and time wasn't as easy to come by as it was before to spend training and hauling.  Just woods hunt now when i get a chance and enjoy working woods dogs.  Tell the wife and fam and Cleve i said hello!  is he still around? good ole' cleve, he sure liked me and my dogs... made some money off my calcutta's, crazy gamblin man!!!hahahaaha

Hope to see you down the road sometime - Take care,
Chris

Cleve is still around, chasing women, gambling and hog hunting. Only thing that's changed is he's even louder!
