I got to go hunting Sunday evening. It was a spur of the moment decision. After falling asleep several times and wishing I had stayed home to nap because the wind was pretty gusty, I woke up and looked toward the brush line. I saw several deer grazing. I assumed they were all does, but then one lifted its head and I could see the antlers. I shot him and then a few minutes later the does made a circle and were right in front of my stand. So I got one of those, too. Not bad for about 1 1/2 hrs. in the stand. The buck was a nice 8 pointer - not a super trophy but I am satisfied!!   |

Actually, that is not my first buck. First one for this year. However, the place we hunt this size rack is considered a nice rack.
