I Give Up!!!!!!

Opening day of duck season my Fiance, one of my buddy's, and I went down the crawfish ponds to see if we couldnt get some birds that afternoon. I have learned to always bring my rifle when I go duck hunting because you always see the big deer while duck hunting for some reason.(Murphys Law) 

We got out and started to walk around the pond and of course there wasnt any ducks, but there was a lot of hog damage that I havent seen before. I didnt expect any hogs to be on the property because the hogs usually will bed up in the CRP about a thousand yards behind the crawfish ponds.  Well before I knew hit Yoli opened up about a 100 yds in front of us and as always when I go hunting for something other than hogs I get hogs.  She had two nice sows bayed with some pigs down in a ditch.  I walked up within 30 yds or so and when the big sow charged her I dropped the other one with the rifle.  Then the bigger sow quit her charge and started back to the ditch and my gun got jammed so my buddy shot her with the 12 gauge, but didnt phase her a bit and she hight tailed it and Yoli was in pursuit.  Then the pigs began to scatter and he we knocked down a couple more with the gauge and of course Yoli being a gun dog she came back the shot and began chasing the pigs down and bringing them back to Tammy, who had the knife and was finishing them off with everyone she brought back.(Which was just the begining, because she ended up killing about 6 pigs, gutting, cleaning, and cooking them) ((AWESOME WOMAN))!!!!!

So, we ended up seeing two grey ducks and three teal, but ended up with a nice lanyard of pork.  I think I will just stick to hog hunting!

You are right on!!!  That was the nail in the coffin so to speak.  Proposed in CO. while skiing over Thanksgiving break.  Tammy skins and cleans fish better than anyone I have ever seen, in fact when she finished the first one my Buddy, CJ, said, "Im Embarassed!!", and walked off.  Her Grandfather taught her well.  I have to tell her to slow down on the way to the bay because my fatself cant keep up.

She is very photogenic and always poses well for the camera.  She is supposed to be my bird dog, but she is really geared more towards furred game.  Like I said before, she is my worst hog dog, but none of my hog dogs can point, retrieve, and tree.
