Seems like every year i hear about stories like this. Its a sham and that guy was dead wrong for killing your dog but...................hunting dogs at day time during deer season is like playing with fire! You do it enough and you are going to get burned.

X2, its always a possibility while deer season is going on. Thats why my dogs are nice and fat right now, Lack of anything but feed.

Sorry to hear about your dog.  I am not one to usually get even or be resentful but, I would make the rest of his huntin season....shall I say, very challenging!  I own a local beauty shop and would be willing to save all the extra hair from hair cuts that I do!  lol Put the hair in a pillow case with holes and just start shakin!! It will leave a human scent and there will not be a deer around....especially not a wise nice buck!! Trust me, I m a woman and it does work! lol Just my 2 cents.  Good luck and if you need a pup, Ive done it before and will do it again...gave to a fellow hunter!  I had a litter born on 11/28/10, all yellow black mouths, out of our good dogs. Come pick one out!  Good luck and sorry for your past luck.

It is clear in wise county texas hog hunters dont have much to stand own as far as help from the law. game warden and sherif came to my home to talk and investigate. informed me that I cant tresspass own some one else to comfront them about my dog. he ask me if I threatend this man. I told them just as the man is a coward and dog murder he is also a lier I never pulled my knife own this man. I simply grab him by his right hand like a hand shake and did not let him go in till I told him he did not have to do this act I did not cuss him I did not theaten his life are bodly harm. I just imformed him that this is a small comunity and I have lived here for ever and never experianced such. I was point blank in his face.I told him we will run into each outher again some where in town and it will be diffrent. for he will not be able to hide behind the law that he can kill anything that tresspases own his property.Gentel men I am great full for your responce and encouragement. But it is over now It cost me dearly I have learnd a hard lesson and morned over this long enough. I will find myself a new strike dog and get back to hunting. The lord says to ( save room for his wrath when it comes to revenge) im going to give him all the room he needs. Terry
