Thanks yall, defenitely got the goods to work with.... just got to not screw them up now!!!  Grin

Goose, this was the 1st time I've let these pups work a loose hog in the woods.  They're 4mnths right now and just now really turnin' on... I kicked that sow out and 'soon as she hit the edge of the bayhead, cut the 4 pups to her.  Will be increasing the lead time as they get a little older/faster... just keepin' it easy and fun right now!  But I have to do the same as you until these goat worshipers clear out of my woods...   Grin  Just tryin' ta keep the young dogs tuned in 'till it's game time!!!

nice pics and good looking dogs...I like the bob tails. Smiley

Reuben, thanks, I really like the looks of some of your old dogs... hope you and Scott can bring 'em back!  Wink

Thanks JDT!!!  No, I kept 2 females and 2 males... culled down to 6 based on conformation/personality... 2 good males went to my boys in Myakka, should get some good feedback from them... they'll get worked hard, that's for damn sure!  I sure don't care to keep a male dog, but if I'm gonna try an' "refine" these mixbreed dogs... I guess it's a necessary evil...  Tongue Grin

I definitely can see the drive and that conformation is nice...

Thanks Noah, Scott and I have the plan, all we need is to execute it now...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog...
