Well the entire day yesterday was spent on the road to oklahoma with Skoalbandit and Bigo to visit Clue Anderson. While we were there we picked up 3 pups, a black and tan cur for Bob's daughter and these 2 yella pups for me. I sure do fancy these pups. They are heavy Big Boy x Blondie cross. Also a big thanks to Bigo and Skoalbandit for taking me under their wing this last year and showing me the right way of doing things and pointing me in the right direction with dogs.

We alway like to meet new folks, we all live in Henderson county close to the Athens area. You'll be happy with these pups they are bred right by a man who uses them for what they were born to do, and he is a honest man to boot.

Good looking pups, and sounds like they're bred up right.  Do you know how many in the litter came black and tan?

Most know that's my personal color of choice and our dogs throw a lot of them along with the yellows.  Lately i've been talking to some "gurus of the breed" doing some research on a particular dog, and I have found it interesting that they ALL seem partial to that paint job.  I believe I have traced some ETBMC dogs back far enough to find some WAY back in the mix...

Ben, I am sure glad you are excited about those pups.. At this point , I see no reason those pups won't make good dogs. Just remember, dont get kennel blind, Clue would be the  first to tell ya they all sure as heck dont make the grade for one reason or another. If they don't, don't waste time, cull em go right back get some more, you'll find what ya want there. Jim Bob or Wendy will get ya some pups down the road that should work well with them. If you can talk Chance out of one down the road, I really like him, his program and his dogs, think they would work with them well to.
I know those pups are bred right and have been for many generations. They all have to work for a living and do it right around there to keep eatin and it's been that way for years and years. Clue's tough on em and holds to a rigid set of standards. He's the kind of feller a man should look for when lookin for a pup.
I think their daddy is the best cow dogs I have seen work in many a year and the pups I see he is producing,no doubt in my mind that he's gona make a name for himself in the stud dog department.  Their mama is pretty dang special herself and a sure nuff cow dog.. I'd sure think you got a good shot with em.  Great thing about all that, if they make it,  they got what it takes to reproduce it down the road with consistancy, they aint scatter bred and it isn't  a accident they are what they are.

JDT - I sure wish Ben and you guys luck with those pups, good decision on  you guys part in my opinion.

Skoal, I will damn sure give these pups a chance to make dogs and I understand what yall say about being kennel blind. It wont happen here, Ive listened very close to what you and Bob have said about these cur dogs and its in my head. I hope they do what they should do naturally, the genetics are there. Ill do my best to help keep these ETBMC the way they have been for so many years.
