Danes...... huh.
I've sure seen some 350-375lb hogs stopped and caught by 4 cur dogs and 2 40-50lb pits.
i don't know how much bigger your catching, must be hogzillas i guess. And you must have ESPN if you know which "team" to take at any given time.
x2 Kevin this is getting comical, I dont even know how you have the patience.....different packs to catch different hogs-LOL I cant even predict a dry run much less what I am going to get on, guess I'm slow at this since it's only my hobby

I didn't realize you needed a different set of dogs to catch different size hogs. Different strokes for different folks, I've got one dog who I keep trying to train to only go after mule footed Russian hogs but he keeps trashing on those regular hogs. I'm getting a little frustrated with him so he may go on the dog trade soon I thought me and you talked about this and you were going to leave all my marked hogs alone! You need to teach them dogs to leave my marked hogs alone!LOL

Hi, I know we always have our favorite teams of dogs to go hunting with like for my regular hunting team its Pit Black Mouth Cur Catahoula Foe bigger hogs douge de bourdex grayhound and mountain cur and for real bad hogs its Gritty caty Dogo And a plott pit cross that will bay his head off and catch Whats yours?
I have hunted with a few on this board and some not on this board. I enjoy seeing others' hunting styles and how they put their teams together. I never know enough. I would really like to see how your dogs work together. Let me know when you are going out and I will be happy to get dirty and tie the pigs for you. I will even haul all the pigs out for you too. Just let me know when you are going out and I will be there.

dabutcher, you just said some big ones are stoped by 6 dogs so yes i mean i do use mastiffs on the bigger ones, beats having 6 dogs on one hog kevin here is the reason having diffrent packs makes it better in diffrent situations the black mouth and catahoula on the first ne just bay hard and the pit catches hard and for hogs 200-250 range they are the best the bigger dog like the douge helps keep the bigger hogs under control like some of the 400-500 pounders we get every now and then the grayhound is fast enough to really get ahead of them and come up and bay and the mountain cur bays hard too so the douge knows right where to go and last i use the dogo and girtty cat cause the cat gets the back leg and my dogo gets the front and can control most bad hogs and the plott pit is fast and bays hard and then helps everyone out so the hog dosent get the advantage. I look at everything in science and for a diffrent outcome you need diffrent variables.

What kind of dogs do you use on your 20 to 60 pounders weener dogs and rat terriors or what? How do you now what team to take if you dont know what you are goin to catch? Do you hunt tracks and go by the size of the track or what and then decide what team to use?
Im really intrested because i may be doin it all wrong I would really like to see some photos of your team in action like on the 400 to 500 pound hogs and the other team on the 200 to 250 range have you ever let your 200 250 pound range dogs catch a 400 to 500 pound hog if so how did they handle it?

BaronBoar, Where are you located? Im free this weekend, and ill give you a chance to win alittle money. We will go hunting and see your teams work. For each hog your designated team catches that is in the weight class you say they catch, ill give you 20 bucks. For each hog they catch that is outside of the weight class, you give me 20 bucks. How about we start with the 400 to 500 pound weight class and work our way down? And please, no checks, cash only......

Did I mention I can use one hand. If you can catch anything I will flip, tie, and drag it out with one hand. I bet seeing that would be fun. All the b.s. stops when it flops on the dock. I notice my offer was ignored
