i know nothing but good news through the grapevine about those vests, if your looking for a new rush you could try leaving the catchdogs at the house and using a spear

not a heavy spear like a coldsteel boarspear but a lightweight lancetype spear and as far as how, you have to do it matador style, "touch and go" or as i used to call it before i had a catchdog, " Stick and $h!t" its scary but it is possible if your dogs are in tune with your movements, back when i only had two dogs and niether would lay a tooth on a pig thats how i handled pigs in places that i couldnt use a gun. i wont say it wasnt scary, i know three times that i just had to walk away and whistle like a madman to get my dogs off cuz i wasnt as brave as them.

why not throwing spears? run up to it throw a spear or two hope one hits and let it bleed out while you put some more into him, i dunno but i wouldent have the balls or the spear to do it, what spear do you use?

Baron ,, i would think any respectable hunter would want a clean swift death for any type of game. keep the graphic death stuff off of this board.
try tying , that might ad a little more to your hunts..

i eventualy got smart enough to use a catchdog but the last one i made was a nice straight 5' limb from a crape myrtle with a butcher knife blade drilled and bolted in the end of it . i had to use a grinder to sharpen the back of the blade and take the finger guard section down to the width of the lance. it didnt work all the time though bcuz a few times the lance was pulled from my hand. I definetly had to guage the situation to see if it would be pheasable and ethical to use, but when i used it i never had to track very far.
