I went down for my annual hunt with one of our vendors at work. This is a brand new ranch out of Dilley that they traded their old ranch in Brackettville for. It is 2,500 acres, high-fenced and loaded with some awesome whitetail and axis deer. All the bucks were brought 4 years ago. They are ear-tagged and all 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 years old now... you should see all their offspring running around with 8 or more points on their first set off horns. Shocked

Being this is their first year to own, the goal is to take out about 50 whitetail does and about 20 axis does. I had my heart set on an axis, and was covered up with axis bucks. After reviewing my video, they decided there was two cull axis I could shoot... one was big as a horse. Unfortunately, the axis didn't show this morning so I got a nice whitetail doe to put in the freezer. I took a lot of video and only a few pics... here's a couple.

25 deer eating the golden nuggets...

A big 8-point that will be culled next year...

1 of 4 brand new rangers, completely decked-out to get around the ranch on...

That place looks awesome bro!!! That Ranger is ridiculous hahah it has attachments attached to attachments hahahha. Really neat looking place, I have only hunted one place that had axis and it was in the Hill Country around Vance and man it sure was neat to see them and hear them bugle.

Looks like a really nice place.

No, I sure don't. It's right in between Dilley and Cotulla.
