Well we havent posted any pics in a while because we just havent caught anything worth bragging about. We went hunting sat. night with Setexasplott, Mex, Sonny Butcher and his wife Jennifer, and Travis Psencik and his wife Jessie. Sonny and Travis and thier wives are newbies, but now they are hooked. Travis even brought his catahoula pup with us and she got to bay her first hog. It deffinatelly isn't a huge hog. But i wanted to post this hunt because we were with good friends and I wanted to showcase Travis's start into hogdogging with is pup Maddie. We caught a shoat and a nice boar. Im posting pics of the boar. Mex went with us but he is camera shy. LOL

This is James and Todd right after they flipped it, deciding if they should tie it or stick it. The leopard pup behind James is Maddie, Travis's pup. Third time to ever see a hog. The other dogs pictured are our dogs, Red, Voodoo, and Mex's dog Tigger.

This picture is Sonny, James with Foot, Todd and Travis with Maddie

This picture is of Jessie, Travis, and their dog Maddie.

This is a better pic of the hog, Todd posed it for us

Good hunt DJ!
I have been aiming to ask you for a while now. How is Foot bred? His looks favor an old dog of mine and I have been curious.

Boarninja, Foots mom came from some of Jimmy Thorntons stock (all hog dogs) over in Moss Hill and his daddy belonged to Marlene Henery (she is front desk clerk for Dr. Hall in Dayton). She kept her daddy's old hog dog blood line going from back when they used to herd wild hogs to market. We didn't get him until he was a year and a half. He was given to a girl as a pet back when he was just a small pup. When we got him, we put him in a pen with a hog to see what he would do and he bayed it. So we took him to the woods a few days later and he bayed a hog and we've been catching hogs with him ever since.
