A buddy and I caught this boar last week.  He was a rough one.  Red and black spotted.  I've seen plenty of red hogs, black hogs, black and white hogs but never a red and black spotted one.

Haven't posted in a while, thought I'd share this one.

Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!

Jacob, the bacon biters will all live to hunt another day.  We were worried about 2 of them but they're recovering well.

Mike and Underdog, we thougth about caping him out but had to tend to the dogs.  I hacked his head off and I'll take it to Skulls Unlimited here in Oklahoma City and have it bleached out.  Undecided

Craig we need to get together and make a round.

Thanks for the comments everyone!

thats good to hear Kevin, Im waitin on our CD to heal up after last weeks hunt, 3 holes big enough for a soda can and a few other punctures. It'll all pan out though from what I hear he is healing up fine so just a little time  he'll be back in the field. Merry Christmas everybody!

Diamond G, I'm sitting about 3 foot behind the hog.  Next time I'm going to sit indian style, about 4 foot behind it.  That way just my head and shoulders are showing.  I'll have the photographer lay down in front of the pig, pretty close and take the picture at an upward angle.  It makes for a terrific internet hog hunting story!
