Since this wasn't an actual hunt, I am putting this here. We had a shoat in the pen we wanted to get rid of, so, since our hunts have been slow due to deer season, we hauled him out and turned him loose for the youngsters to practice on. I did take my older dogs, Blade and Girls just in case.

Starting on the left and going to the right over the top, Buck, coming 6 month old 3/4 Mountain Cur X 1/4 Plott, Girl, 20 month old BMC gyp, Petra, 9 month old BMC gyp, Diesel, Zach's 8 month old Cat male ( and he is a gritty bahstahd too ), Blade, 18 month old BMC male and last but not least, Sackett, my 4 month old AB catch dog gonna be. Gonna be honest here, Sackett is not caught, he is in his face barking. He did catch at the end and after we killed the hog, he got real brave and tried to drag the shoat away from Zach.

He was just along for the ride and the exposure. I'm not trying to rush him, but it was fun to watch.  Wink

You should try feeding them dogs every now and then... They are trying to eat up that shoat... Smiley

Nice looking pups. Smiley
