Robert and I decided to go try our place in Santo since we got skunked there last week leaving a bad taste in our mouth. Within about 10 minutes we bayed a good boar, while I was tying him Luke rolled with the other hogs. By the time I checked on him he was 2.4 miles treed. Loaded up and started to him, it wasn't until I was almost a mile from him I finally heard him bayed solid. I called Robert at the truck and told him to bring Pedro and keep the other dogs in the trailer since Luke had it under control. We made the long hike to him, he had a group bayed in some thick stuff. He finally singled a good spotted sow out and I sent Pedro in. Not bad for a rockymountain flagtail.  1st boar  2nd |
