well this afternoon i finally straped my new christmas present garmin on ole zeke to try it out. i loved it wish i would have bought one sooner... i was mainly just trying it out but now that i could see were the dogs were i went deeper into the woods behind the house than normal and low and behold i here a pig go to squeeling. by the time i made it there my 3 females had him stetched out and zeke was in his face Grin it was a boar only about 100-120lbs but he is in the cooler now Grin ready for the sausage,

it sure is nice to be able to see if the dogs are getting to close to the cranky neighbors pasture, it will give me time to call them out before they get to close. it looked like the dogs stayed out about 200-300 yrds and would circle back to check in and then gone again... i never had any idea they were going even close to that far out before the garmin..... i'm lovin it like mc donalds says;D

Good deal... Garmin will sure tell you what your dogs are doing. That's not always a good thing. Shocked

I feel lost with out mine. You can get spoiled real quick with one of those. Dont know how people have hunted with out them for so long. We picked our dogs up 3 miles from where we turned loose. We would have never found them with the Garmin. Great invention.

the only thing bad about the garmin, is when you have a buddy that doesn't have the handheld and he asks you every 2 seconds... "where are the dogs", "how far are they", "what are they doing"!! LOL

Maybe I can join y'all around tax time, I knew having them kids would pay off.  Grin

If you haven't already got it, make sure you get the mapping software that shows all your secondary rds., creeks, powerlines, elevations, etc...well worth the money...

I love my garmin.  I could not imagine hunting without it.  Just this past saturday I had one of my kemmer currs bayed at 600 yards by himself and would have never know without the gps.
