Took a couple of newbies out last night to a place I havent hunted much on 5 or 6 years. Nothing at the first spot, so we went to the next.  I had Hollywood, Brittany, and Boss. Turned them out, hw went left, brit and boss went right. Watched on the garmin and the were about the same distance but in different directions.  About 20 minutes later, hw opens up almost a mile.  We drive around to him, other dogs get there, turn catch dog loose at 30 yards, she catches. I get up the hog and he rakes the cd off on a tree and takes off. Long story short, they bayed again a good way to the north.  Get over there and the bulldogs not there. tracked her and shes not far away, but not moving.  I go look at the hog, decide to go get a gun. So we go get one, come all the way back, I slipped in the canes and shot him.  Got all the dogs but hw, shows him 1.29 bayed. get there and hes got a 150 lbs boar, had to shoot it too.

On a brighter note, the newbies had a blast.

Thanks guys...the dog actually belonged to Cole Newsom, I just used her.  Found her this morning...not good, she never had a chance even with the vest on...good ones are hard for me to keep...

Sorry to hear about the CD. I know it dosen't make you feel any better about losing one, but Boozie went out on a good one.

Just curious, What type of vest was the CD wearing?
