Ive got plenty of California bears under my belt. I believe you cant run bears in OK with dogs, rifle/bow only. I may be wrong about that.

Plenty of bears here in TN, been hunting them bout 20yrs now. I would rather catch a pig any day.  But wouldnt mind hunting Newmexico one time.

Not much land here to run bears on,  I wouldnt mind it so bad if i could just run my dogs, but here you have to hunt with everybody and their dogs, and everybody carrys a gun. I just dont care for all the bull #2 that goes along with it. LOTS of drama.

But, its legal so i guess i will always keep a few hounds, and just deal with it.  lol

Oh yeah,  one of the best ways i have found to train a bear dog is with a coon sprayed with bear scent.

Hey Ferris TX - Michael and I will be hunting the Lincoln National Forrest in september.  Gonna be up on Capitan.  We go right by Riu Dosa to get there.

Ez - If you hunt these Texas hog dogs long enough in the mountains they will trash on a dang ol bear.  LOL!
