Met the usual crew this morning. Aaron BMC brought his cousin Megan along, she had never caught a hog before. Not 5 min into the hunt Hips opens up. We had a nice little chase and ended up catching a good sized boar. The cool thing about this hog is that we are almost positive that this was the same red boar with black markings that killed Clay's dog Mandy several months ago. We have had this hog bayed before three different times and he has always managed to give us the slip, not this time. We also caught another boar and two sows and called it a day. Maggie and Hips took some shots but nothing serious, all will live to fight another day. Aaron w/ boar Aaron w/ boar Cull Buck and Megan The Ladies

Good job guys, those are some good hogs! Good feeling catching one that has put the slip on you in the past and a dog killer to boot.

The red boar had a gash about six inches long and 2 inches deep on its right shoulder. The pie bald hog had an arrow head in its shoulder that Aaron found while skinning it. Pretty hardy animals

Sorry...broad head. My tool of choice is a knife, not a bow and arrow.

I just show up for Aaron's diesel flavored tamales. Catching hogs is a bonus. Clay, 90% sure this is the one. The black markings on his ribs look VERY similar. Wish it could have been jug sealing the deal.
