I got 8.27 miles on my dog using the hood mounted antenna.
Shock the heck out of me, I can usually get 3 will the hood antenna most of the time.

Dang that is good. The most I got was the other night and it was 4.4 miles in some thick pine trees. Good deal man.

lol @ 8.27 yds...that was a little below the belt....nice range though 8.27 miles Ive been thinking of getting the hood antenna..
