We went to the bottoms today with James's cousin, Tilman Thornton, and Andrew Arnold. We turned the dogs loose and they were bayed in about 10 minutes. By the time we got there, the dogs had roughed up a 40lb.er so Andrew and James went ahead and dispatched the hog. The dogs rolled out and we heard them baying again within a few minutes. We headed towards the bay and it broke a couple of times. Finally Tilman's dogs got it stopped in a thicket. We were about 150 yards from them and we could here a deep grunt so Tilman turned his cd loose and asked James to turn VooDoo loose. It was a good thing because this was deffinately a two cd kind of hog. We took him back to Tilman's house and put him in the pen.

Dinah,
A little off topic..... tell James to get his head horse legged up. We are putting on a benefit roping for Chad Brock on Jan 30th.  His house burned down on Christmas day. I'll post up a flyer in a few days.

Dang, I hate to hear about Chad's house. James said that he will let every one around here know about it also. I think we've all roped at some of Brock's functions at one time or another. Where is the roping going to be held? You can just P.M. me the info if you want.
