You never know until you try it! Of course if it turns out to be hog bait it wont be much of a companion to your wife as a pet afterwards. lol

The ones I have personally been around were more like barking footballs. Just saying.  Evil

Dixie has only seen a hog once. We had gone over to a friends house and they had a boar in their pen that weighed around 220 and she was determined that she was going to get that pig. luckily I had her on a lead and she couldnt get through the fence but u could tell that she hated that thing. She probably weighs around 7 lbs and she isn't a yappy dog thank goodness!!

my great uncle had a "screwtail bulldog" (boston terrier) that caught hogs back in open range days. he had to have help, but they said he caught as hard as anything else.

and if you want to hear really strange? a buddy of mine had one old rooster guinea that took up with his dogs. he had a pen at his house and worked his dogs often and that guinea bayed right with the dogs! dont think he ever took him to the woods though Grin

Ive got an ol brindle boston terrier...Ive thought about taking him just for the fun of it but I dont want him getting in the way or trying to jack with my other dogs..too much fuss. As for the min pin...that dogs feet hardly EVER hit the ground thanks to my wife...poor thing is 6 or 7 months old now and barely knows how to walk..lol
