Occasionally we have calendar events which occur on the same day, that, when put together, seem to carry special meaning.
Two such events will coincide in February of 2011.
This next year, both Groundhog day and the State of the Union Address will occur on the same day.
As someone pointed out,"It is an ironic juxtaposition of events; one involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to a creature of little value, with questionable intelligence, and no aptitude for prognostication, while the other involves a cute little ground hog.
