Me, Bigo, Skoal, Wendy, her husban, 2 kids and a friend along with 7 others, Yea I know. Well we dropped the dogs and had a solid bay going in no time. Ended up with a Boar about 260-275, ended up cutting a Cd pretty good in the throat and a pup pretty good on the hind leg almost in the belly, Both dogs will be ok.   Wendy with the hog  Some of the boys there that wanted that ole head and used some team work to cut it off and hauled out  We cut the dogs loose again and they went on a trip again. Ended up baying a big sow across a river, the fella we was hunting with ended up shooting it with his pistol as it was crossing the river, Scared the crap out of Bear and pissed me off. I ended up having to strip down and swim the river to get the dogs. Ended the day and went home to dry out and get warm. |

That is a good hog! Sounds like all had a great time. I like the way the tan bull dog is handling that hog. Yea I bet ya can tell from the pic which one of them CD's got cut. The tan one is OZ Wendys CD and a pretty good one so far. |

Aint that the truth, Took my breath away. LOL. Reminds me of a similar situation I was in years ago with a few friends back in 92. We made the guy that shot the hog swim across 30 yards of wide, deep creek to get it! When he got back, he had a blue look to him and we couldnt understand what he was saying because he was shivering so bad! lol. I couldnt imagine swimming a river this time of year! |

Well I wouldnt of had to swim if the fella would have waited for the hog to swim to our side where the Cd's were, the bay dogs would have swam after it. Instead he thought shooting it in the middle of the river was a better idea. Sometime people just dont think before they act, but Im not one to gripe about it I do all kinds of stuff without thinking first.
