Went Saturday after I got home from the fire station and met up with ferris tx. The place we hunted had lots of sign and dogs hunted hard. It was a long narrow place with open field on one side and the trinity river on the other. It looked like the hogs had moved through there early the evening before. We were walkin along there and I asked Jason if his dogs ever swam the river. He said no not yet. Well we made it to the other end of this place and his dogs struck. Shortly the bays dogs had it caught. We get probably 100    Yards from them and they start movin. Well we made it to the edge of the river and sure' nough they were swimming. They got to the other side and caught. Jason asked what do we do. I said as I sat down on the bank let's watch till they kill it. So we watched till it was done. It was probably a 50-75 pound pig. Got 'em called back. Turned out to be a pretty good hunt.

Ferris i did not mean that as an insult sorry if it came across that way. any hunt that ends with no injuries and dead hogs is a success in my book
