I bought the folding antenna that attaches directly to the Astro and folds down the side. DON'T BUY IT. It adds absolutely no range to the small rubber antenna. It is a piece of junk. Derek

Hey I made my own went to radio shack bought a sma conector with a wire on it then a retractable antenna was loosing a dog at 800 yards sunday with the rubber ducky put this on and picked her right up full service. Didn't cost much is not tuned exactly right but works ok

Mine added a good bit of range for me, before i broke it. I thought it was well worth the 30 dollars. Needless to say, i will be ordering another one!!

I've noticed that alot of Garmin equipment is very inconsistent.

I got mine from Grain Valley Dog Supply...maybe different companies make them, IDK. Derek

I've noticed that alot of Garmin equipment is very inconsistent.
I dont believe this is an actual Garmin product, just made for the Garmin...
