Good deal. Looks like lots of memories to be made on the old ball field.
We are in a similar position on our local arena. Fixing to do some overhauling on the old pens, install a sprinkler system, and get her shaped back up, before she gets so bad she's only worth the scrap.

John Deere might be getting some good advertising out of that, but I'm glad they stepped up to the plate to help yall out. Sounds like a great trade! How long do you think the rehab will take? I'm more curious about the grass and how long it will be before "baseball field grass" comes up and is ready to play on.

If yall have enough help you could have games there this spring. Little paint, some new seat boards, some dirt work and grass planting she will be good to go. I ride around the town I grew up in everyday and there are several places like this that I would like to see "transformed". Unfortunately the worse part of it is where housing (or lack there of) has taken over land and then been abandoned, creates a real eye sore.
