this was my first pig dog i got him when i was 8 and had him up untill 3 years ago when he over heated on mein the summer . i thought i'd put a pic on here and tell a story about him because i ahve never seen a dog hunt like him we caught thousand and thousand of pigs with him we had a couple of guys come out and they didnt belive us when we said we were catchin 4 pigs a day with my dog they said they had the best dogs in our state so we took our my dog with them on a hunt just in case . we were gone for only 2 hours but we had 13 goats and 7 pigs and my dog caught every one of them without assistance there dogs were never off the ute once they never had they chance we expected them to be a bit angry about this but they werent they just kept bragging about how good my dog was so we were happy about that. the best time with him tho was when he caught a 130kg boar (300lbs) whenever we came across a big boar he would bail them and wait untill my dad came in and stand behind the boar and say grab it as soon as he said that its what he would do he grabed this boar and my dad flipped it somehow and stuck it. he also grabbed a 150kg sow (335lbs) my dad couldnt flip it so he shot it with a shotgun . the only thing i ever regret is that i never had a camera or video camera when we hunted with him so all ive got is stories about him and heaps of people bragging about him. i did take pictures of the 130kg boar (300lbs) and a 120kg boar (265) we got with him but thats it . so now that i have my new dog ive allways got a camera and video camera with me altho my new dog isnt anywere as good or caught pigs anywere as big as what my other one did im sure i can get him nearly as good as what he was if i keep training him.
