Yes I did, got a saddle and breast collar and bought some pannels from Sutherlands to keep him in by the house, the mule has bonded up with the terriers and thinks he is one,  There is a Amish community a little off of US 59 and I got to haul him out there next week and there going to make a britchin with d rings on it so i can tie off about 10 dogs on him.  Been putting 2 dogs on him in a box looking deal to get him despooked.  Been pouring feed and wormer to him and alfalfa hay, its hard to find any tack since he is a large small mule or a small medium mule, found a new aussie saddle with a lot of rigging for scabards so could try him out to ride but i left it on him all day to make sure it did not cut or rub him, its cheap deal but had a low saddle and lw price so i said what the heck, its such a shame no saddlers here anymore in this area.  I thinking the amish have broke all of the saddle makers with cheap labor, not sure, am going to find out what kind of work and price they have.  I am not impressed with the mules and horses i see them riding by the ranch on, they never feed a horse or mule enuff an dusually dotn worm anything either looks like to me.  I want a fat fat mule so the saddle wont slip on em.  I still waiting on Max Harsha to send plans but i think it wont so i going to just tack out a frame on a dead truck here and try to get a mule/dog rack with saddle boxes going.  The w500 is kinda high and need a ramp for dogs or mule to get in, i might just build one kinda slide in deal with a cab overhang for this 2001 dodge 4x4 dually i have.  I cant beleive not anything for sale or even on google to copy.  I found 3 and there not close to what i had way back.  This mule is not too bad on his withers and looks like saddle fits him good but i got to make sure its got britchin and a better shorter cinch and breast collar before we go off for a long ride.  I hate this saddle actually, its pretty stiff and i found 2 places where if i had used it prob been tossed along the way, so been soaking it in neetsfoota nd saddle soaping it with a ton of soap to keep the sharp edges from making him buck if he wants too.

Look on Big game houndsmen. There was a guy out in NM that had a box for a mule and dogs for a flatbed or fullsize truck he was selling at a reasonable price.

It is hard to find ya a good mule!

I have looked at that site like 2 nights ago but what i found was one that was winterrized for out there, i just looking for something in 1 inch square tubing or 1 1/2 round gal pipe that wind will go thru and be able to fold down, max harsha really had a nice setup for a toyota that was like this i got one for a 1 ton powerwgon and let it go when i quit.

will tack him up today and snap some pics next to the 64 crewcab powerwagon, I got 6 or 7 of them, i think cant remember some are parts truck i bought for the front mounted pto winch or the stepside beds,  I got a addiction for utline beds i guesslol  We used to use them for setting out and picking up hunters on the guided hunts down at the ranches, they hold 6 big men and were KISS and never had probs like new trucks.
