Me and my buddy have been hunting some marsh on the trinity river lately, been getting a few good pigs. There has been a bunch of smaller ones, went out last night and bayed up a boar about 450 lbs when we got to the bay we pulled the dogs off and turned the pig lose, but it didnt go anywhere but then it charged us. Has this ever happened to anybody, i think what happend was when our bay dogs hit they hit a pack and when we got there there was a few more big pigs around us, is this something i should watch out for, i mean will they charge us?

It's usually not the big ones that charge you. The mean little dudes about 150-200 pounds are the ones you gotto really watch. Most of the big ones don't have much to prove I guess. How long have you been hog huntin'?

I remember your post from the end of January...you said guys bayed up two 400+ lb. hogs two days in a row.

Sounds like you all have some monsters around there.
