Tuskbuster,

Last summer slimpickens and circle c dug my pond twice as deep and twice as big. It stayed empty for months. Now, since late December, the pond is out of its banks so that my ducks can swim under the fence and around my roundpen observation deck. We are waiting for it to dry up because the water that has accumulated by my roundpen deck is preventing our getting any dump trucks into our arena. It just isn't able  to dry out before it starts raining again. It is getting in the way of getting our arena footing in. Apart from that, I'm sick of the mud. You are welcome to all the rain you want, but it seems like this year it is either feast or famine. Either you have no rain or monsoons.

Cheers

Aladatrot you will be able to get a truck in when all the water is froze up! 20 degrees should get it real solid Grin

I am sooooo ready to go back south!!!!!

Suppose to start tonight here around 9pm - wind and rain, temps dropping quickly...then frozen rain and snow beginning around midnight.  We are looking at a low of 8 degrees in the morning with a wind chill of
-12!!!  Windy all day and will not get above 30.  Low Wednesday morning of 0 with a wind chill of -20!!!!
