Guys, I am always the first to call out a bad trip or a junk outfit when I see one. I also like reporting the good outfits and hunting trips I get to take. I have got to say that the people of the Lamesa Ranch are some of the best!!!! Got to make a cull buck hunt w/ my wife and two other couples this past weekend and I can honestly say I am looking forward to staying in touch w/ these people. After all, the first thing I notice when I pull up is a kennel full of awesome hog dogs!!!!!

I love going to south Texas for the scenery and the animals, in which you can actually see deer unlike La. where they come out 5 minutes before dark (not always, but you know what I mean). I have been on some places where the guides and ranch hands are there for a "job" and don't make the trip that enjoyable. This trip was special as it was a weekend getaway with my wife who just loves the outdoors, and loves hunting, but has only had the chance to harvest one deer in her short career. Thankfully, we were both able to get cull bucks and she saw a ton of deer. HeII, I even got my hands on live hog while I was there, which was a bonus!

Special thanks to David Perkins and his soon to be wife Tammi (even though she is still waiting on the wedding), Kagan, Pete, and Kurt. You guys rock and are welcome at my place anytime. The hospitality was awesome, the ranch was great, and hopefully we made some friends for a lifetime! Can't wait to get you guys down here for a fishing trip, just make sure to bring me one of those yella dogs when you come!

Anyone looking for a great hunt needs to check them out! David can fix you up!

Well, I'll take him and his yella dogs anytime! Funny $hit, when I walked up to introduce myself and asked him how many padlocks he had. Looked at me kind of crazy, so I told him he better go padlock them kennel doors.

Seems good people always enjoy the company of other good people!
