Had a friend come over from Winnfield this morn and got off to a good start. It wasn’t long into the hunt and we had a good boar up on his feet, but he had his nike's on this morn. Once all the dogs got together and him breaking from 2 bays we finally got him stopped in a bad thicket. Got within a 100yds and sent in my cd, Stunner, to seal the deal. He was a nice boar in the 200lb range but only had 1 ½ cutters. After a few pics we went and put him in the trailer and headed back hunting. It was a little slow for a little while then the dogs seemed to be on to something and it wasn't long before we had a bay going. I guess the bay dogs figured we were taken too long so they handled up on a sow around 80- 100. All in all we had a good day with no dogs cut, 2 caught hogs, another happy landowner and also introduced the sport to a young fellow.
