Made a hunt today with Joe and Red.  We took a long ride down the river today to hunt a WMA.  We snagged this lil fella up.





He was about 175-200.  This hog was well equipped to do some damange.  We had three bay dogs in on the action.  One got a poke to the ribs , but that was it.  Jake got his first stick and is looking forward to another one.

good hog .bet it was a cold boat ride ..looks like that one could have been a dog wrecker  ..hope your dog heals well

yeller: yes striker and another gyp found him i like the way he bays he stands back and dont put much pressere on them to make them break

I love hunting with him.  He definately knows what a caught hog  is.

Thanks Joe, Red & David for teaming up some excellent dogs to make a fun hunt.  Jake is hooked - He & I boiled down his boar's head tonight to make him a nice european mount.  Hope to make another hunt with you guys sometime (when it's not 27 degrees & 27 mph wind & going 27 mph in boats - that was challenging in itself) Keepum Running...
