The Too Redneck Crew

I got a call from Todd James this evening to make a quick hunt  in the rice fields.I met up with Todd,Tommy Coots and Mikey so we got loaded and were in the fields in less than 30 minutes. We rode around looking for fresh sign and in no time flat Mikey spotted some fresh mud on the barbed wire fence so we cut the bay dogs lose then they jumped the hog and ran it about 400 yards on the other side of the fence that we also had permission to hunt on .We couldnt get a 4 wheeler over there so it was going to be a long way to drag the hog back to the truck. What does this hog do?He turns and runs within 45 yards of the truck then the bay dogs latch on,Tommy and Todd legged the 125lb boar, tied him and off to to the truck we went. You dont get that lucky very often,at least I dont.We cut out again and then Tommy noticed more mud on the fence, cut the bay dogs lose and they were all winding hard on the road then they crossed the fence now the chase was on.The hog once again came straight toward the road instead of running way off in the field,we could easily see the hog and knew it was coming across the road so we cut the CDs lose to head the 225lb sow off and sealed the deal.We may have been out there 2 freezing hours with 2 hogs so decided to call it a day.I think this makes 11 hogs that we have caught in 3 very short trips.Im ready to go get some more!!!!!
