I read on the net where the discovery channels rating were through the roof during HGW time slot. At first i thought maybe it didn't air because of the super bowl but i didn't see it in the scheduling for next week either. Hmmmm.

What has me scratching my head is if they were getting good ratings. Usually a tv station doesnt care who does or doesn't like the show as long as ratings are good. So if they did pull the show......I wonder WHY?  |

i for one feel that they were probably threatened into taking the show off the air in one way or another. just reading the blog i could see a few people talking about contacting the higher ups and such. i imagine that they contacted the right guy. i for one will not miss the show. it was fun to poke fun though.  |

i was kinda sad i turned the super bowl off, got all geared up for a laugh, and was sadly diaspointed, their seemed to be alot of support for the show on the blog though,

There has to be more to the story. Money drives all so if viewership was up, advertisers/sponsors are happy....show's typically don't get yanked.
Now if the feedback was bad enough that advertisers were threating to pull ads then I could see things getting yanked.

Not sure if this is correct but someone on the discovery blog posted that the show is supposed to resume the sunday after valentines day which would be feb. 20th.
