It's not snow but...

As an "exchange" in "time spent" with my wife... I try 'an spend one day huntin' per wknd and one day doin' "non huntin'" family kind of stuff...   

... in other words... what "she" want's me to do with the family...   

So.... last wknd she wants me to go "ceramic painting" with her and our daughter Fin.... they painted a tea set and I painted a dinner plate... A dinner plate that calls for some fried sheephead!!! HAHA!!! 



For those of you that don't know what a sheephead is... they are a black and white striped fish that feeds on shellfish and spawns/congregates along the gulf coast in the winter time to spawn.... right about the time the water gets real clear.... PERFECT for spearfishing!!!    The flesh of the fish tastes like lobster.... in a day, one man can shoot well over a hundred of these... with enough beer of course....

Thanks yall    As for the tea set... well you know... "flowers and such"... but my daughter did paint a mouse that turned out good... when the women at the studio handed it to my wife they said... "that mouse looks like it just came out of the womb"...   Guess Fin put a little too much "red" on it.... don't know where she woulda seen that at...

I can very much appreciate that, I'm quite the artist myself! Very impressive and that sheephead hunting with spears sounds very inrtriguing
