Anyone had any work done on a T/C Pro Hunter trigger to make it a little less pull?

I had a trigger done by a group called bullberry for a T/C Encore.  Had it set to 2.5 lbs and its as crisp as breaking a glass rod.  I'm sure they could do a jam up job on a pro hunter if you can't find anyone local.

Were are you located?

Cull Buck, who did your trigger work for you?

I went to the website, got their number, and called them.  They were very helpful and the process is relatively simple...even for an Aggie like me.  Just take the frame and box it up in a small flat rate box and send in.  Postage should be $5.25 and you should insure for $300.  Enclose a check for $70, the poundage you want the trigger set to, and a return address.  If you don't send a check they will call you to get credit card info.

I think you'll happy with the work they do. I had them work up a custom barrel in .270 for my encore and that thing is a tack driver...... .37" MOA avg with factory ammo.  I can shoot 10 different 5 shot groupings and none will be over .5" MOA.  That's incredible accuracy.  I have a couple bolt action build ups from GA Precision that cost way more money and I sometimes struggle to get that kind of accuracy even with handloads. Go figure  :'(

i bought a pro hunter a couple of years ago barreled in 204 ruger bull barrel and for a factory gun it is awsome for varmints. i have several bolt actions that match grade arms built for me that are not as accurate as the t/c. i had a local gun nut tweek on my trigger for me he dropped it to 3 lbs and it seems real crisp now and no creep. i highly recommend a trigger job and the T/C. i now have a muzzle loader barrel and a 30.06 and a .243 and the original 204.. love the t/c

Im a bolt action nut but these Encores are very impressive rifles. I agree that they are very accurate. They function perfectly in nasty, winter weather also! I have had to knock the ice off mine more than once.
I use it in the mountains for deer, bear and elk. I have a .308 and a .300 Win mag barrel for it and they are both tack drivers but I have got to get that trigger worked on! It drives me crazy on the bench.

The encore is a great rifle! I just bought all the tools, springs, and stones then did my own trigger jobs. It's fairly simple and parts are easy to find. A 2.5 pound crisp trigger makes the encore a great gun!
