Caught this boar a couple of weekends ago just now Gettin to post it. Went done to a buddies land one Saturday said they been seein a pretty good size boar. We had to wait on him to get there to go. Well he is never on time. So we got turned out about 10. We found a pretty good trail they been walkin pretty heavy and cut the dogs loose. They opened up and had a pretty good bay but we could see them bayed on a island in the middle of the pond. We walked to the edge and I guess the boar see us and broke. Im glad he did cause it was about 24 degrees. The dogs cut out behind but the dang hog was a olympic swimmer and got way ahead of them. We had some pups with us and cut them loose and when that hog came out the water they were right behind him! Long story short we got the big boar stopped a little over half a mile. It was a pretty good hunt!
