Finally got a minute to put up some pics of our hunt from Saturday... Hit the woods early with all my dogs healthy and just had a real good day!  Just about every drop had a hog or two at the end of it, Shine ended up with 5 and the meatheads ended up with 6!  Was too busy gettin' to the next bay to get many pictures, but still managed a couple!!

2nd hog of the day, every time I start to thinkin' it might be nice to add a track dog to my arsenal... Shine up and talks me right back out of it   Undecided Grin  Pups jumped this lil' boar and Shine took it upon herself to finish it... several miles later through some ROUGH stuff she finally bayed him in a blowdown cave full of water.. had to crawl in on my knees to pull them out after they caught!! Tongue Grin

One of two that Snapps and the Chub caught a few yds apart... man I hate killin' red hogs like this... woulda made a fine trophy in a couple yrs...

Me and Lee sat down to catch our breath while the help went to get our trucks... while we were sitting in the shade Snapps picked her head up, rolled into a strand and the Garmin showed her and Chub "treed" about 500yds away... so much for our breather...  Cheesy

Hate tryin' to hunt this piece of the property, few hundred acres of bad ass thick palm/palmetto... good bedding area but terrible to get to a bay in

Sucked down sow, good puppy trainer Grin  Tiger up top, ready to pounce...  Grin  Loving what I'm seeing out of Shiner's pups... NO look back whatsoever... and work like they're on sooped up jet fuel!! Just like their momma!!!!  Grin

Lane with another red boar, lot's of red hogs that day

No trophy hogs that day, unusual for the place... But was a good day for the dogs, definitely "hardened" them up so when they bump a goodin' next wknd they'll be ready for him!!! First time in a long while I've had more dog power than I could use in a day... we wore out way before the dogs did!!!  Grin

Sounds like a great honey hole  Grin  Looks like your young dogs are following moms footsteps. Nothing makes one feel better than to watch your young dogs do good.  Congrats

Good haul Noah.  A hunt like that will surely harden up the dogs.

Thanks yall, amazing what a dog can do when you get them in semi-decent shape...  Grin

If I get home before dark one day this wk I'll try and get some shots of the Shine/pups... more than likely be this wknd though.... Grin

Don't mean to brag... but man these pups are really surpassing my expectations at this point... I'm pretty damn critical but as far as drive/athleticsm/conformation goes... these pups somehow are the spittin' image of ol' Shine...  with her same "chew through the aluminum dog box to get to the hog" personality...  Grin

Hope they stay that way!!!!!!!!!!
