I have a 2010 extended cab 4x4 6.0 liter and I get 15mpg highway and about 9-10 pulling any kind of trailer regardless of he weight. Could you please tell me what kind of programmer you have, I need to do something BAD!

I had six Ford powerstrokes 1 tons in a row.  All of them did pretty well, until my last one (2008).  Emission regulations KILLED the mpg and I averaged about 11 mpg and even worse towing.  I've heard the new ones are much better, but Obama killed my chances of owning one of those for the time being.  Bought a 2007 Dodge 5.9 Cummins 3/4 ton w/ 6 speed - bone stock and I'm averaging 19 - 20.  Other than the 19-20 mpg, I hate everything else about the truck.

1985 CUCV that is based on the k5 Blazer but 3/4 ton with the j code 6.2 non-turbo. Gets 20+ MPG highway if I drive with a lead foot smoking everyone I get about 15 MPG. Pulling a trailer drops it but I will add a Turbo. Oh and no program or computer.  It is rough tough and gets good milage.

First is a 2003 Dodge 3/4 diesel 4X4 5.9L 6 speed quad cab with a 3" lift - I get about 20 mpg on the highway. Second is a 2000 Dodge 1 ton dually ext cab 5 speed with 315/70/16 with a 6" lift and it gets about on average on the highway and pulling around 18 mpg.

19, somtimes 20 on fw.

06 dodge 3500, single wheel, 4x4, ranch hands front and rear, 35' mt tires,

I run a homeade intake, strait pipe, SMARTY programer, and a built tranny... the built tranny with a low stall tq converter helps the fuel quite a bit i think. just send more power to the ground instead of being wated in the tranny.

Just post it on here, I would like to know what you dont like too.

Can't really say anything bad mechanically...fit, finish, smoothness of the ride and the comfort of the Ford is what I miss.  I think the A/C system is superior in the Ford, and I believe the stock audio in the Dodge is sub-par.  Except for the Mega-Cab, the back seat on the Dodge is smaller.  Leather is harder to come by on the Dodge's and after having owned this one (my first truck with cloth) I will NEVER own another cloth interior truck.

Truck has 120k.  I almost swore I would never own a Dodge, but I bought it cheap and it won't be hard to move.  The 5.9 engines seem pretty sought after.

It's my opinion after having owned both makes that the Dodge is more just a "truck"...more work oriented.  For my purposes, I seldom pull very heavy loads...I drive a large diesel just because I like to.  Therefore, comfort weighs heavily in my selection.
